Paul Bonicelli, Ph.D.
Executive Vice President
Dr. Bonicelli, a graduate of Regent, serves as the university's executive vice president. His extensive career includes a presidential appointment (with Senate confirmation) as Assistant Administrator for the United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) Bureau of Latin America and the Caribbean and an appointment as Deputy Assistant Administrator of USAID's Bureau for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance. He also served two terms as an official delegate to the United Nations General Assembly.
Dr. Bonicelli received a master's degree in public policy from Regent. He has a doctorate in political science from the University of Tennessee and a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Memphis.
